Dr. Shane Davidson
Doctor of Chiropractic; Chiropractor & Founder
Dr. Shane Davidson, a Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate, is the founder and owner of Novo Chiropractic Lincon. Dr. Davidson has done extensive post-graduate training of 361 hours on the spine. He has earned a Fellowship in Primary Spine Care with joint providership through The State University of New York at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Office of Continuing Education and Cleveland University Kansas City, College of Chiropractic, Department of Post-Doctoral Education. Dr. Davidson is trauma qualified, hospital qualified and MRI interpretation qualified. He is a nationally published provider in the NIH (National Institutes of Health). Dr. Davidson was born and raised in Lincoln. Played college soccer at Hastings College and was the National Runner Up. He enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on all Husker teams.
Dr. Nicholas Zeplin
Doctor of Chiropractic; Associate Chiropractor
Dr. Nicholas Zeplin is a doctor of chiropractic who graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas. Dr. Zeplin became interested in chiropractic as a career due to a sports injury during baseball. He was battling shoulder pain for 6 months when he decided to see a chiropractor to see if it would help him. Chiropractic care helped him get back in the game which is why he dedicated his life to helping others the way he was helped.
Dr. Zeplin is a Lincoln native with a passion for nutrition and exercise. He graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Kinesiology. In free time, Dr. Zeplin enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends.
Brenda Steinhauer
Front Desk Chiropractic Assistant
Brenda is a Chiropractic assistant at Novo Chiropractic Lincoln. She graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education and is working to become a Holistic Nutritional Therapist.
She has been working for Novo since May 2024. She says Novo found her. Not only as a long time Practice Member, but now as an employee, she wants to help others achieve the same wonderful success with their health journey, as she did with hers. Her passion is to educate and help as many people as possible.
Brenda was born and raised in Lincoln, NE. she loves to think outside the box with her creative artistic side, loves to educate and help others. In her spare time she loves to be with her family and she also teaches health, wellness, and nutrition and is a sign language interpreter.
Ashley Kinghorn
Radiology/Technical Assistant
Ashley is a Chiropractic Assistant at Novo Chiropractic Lincoln. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Health and Fitness Studies.
She has been working at Novo Clinic since May of 2023 and she loves her job because she gets to help people achieve their wellness goals and regain a healthy lifestyle. Ashley was raised on a farm outside of Ceresco, Nebraska.
In her free time, she enjoys playing sports, spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends, and hanging out with her dog.
Lona Benes
Front Desk Chiropractic Assistant
Lona Benes is a Chiropractic Assistant at Novo Chiropractic Lincoln. She is a mother of 5, grandmother of 16, and a great grandmother of 1.Lona raised her family with her husband Melvin on a farm by Valparaiso Ne.
Lona graduated with an Elementary Education and Special Education Degree from the University of Nebraska. In 2005. She taught for 19 years and retired from teaching in May of 2024.
She has been a practice member with Novo for over 5 years and loved the improved health from getting regular adjustments. The caring staff always greeted you with a smile and made you feel special. She started working at Novo on May 28th of 2024. Lona wanted to work at Novo because she wanted to be part of helping people regain their health and live their best life every day.
