What type of conditions does the chiropractor treat?

We see a large scope of issues in our office ranging from headaches, neck pain, back pain and sciatic pain. We focus on diagnosing the problem and providing you with the best treatment plan to achieve your health goals.

What are the chiropractor's education and experience?

Our chiropractors are experts in the spine and nervous system. Our doctors are both Doctors of Chiropractic and have extensive post graduate training in the spine through medical academia, SUNY Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

How long is each appointment, and how often will I need to visit?

We strive to make our appointments as efficient as possible, the initial exam ranges form 60-90 minutes with most of it consisting of concentrated time with the doctor. We will review your case/history and exams after the initial visit, then having you return to review our best recommendations. Visits after that are significantly shorter, 10 – 20 minutes on average, depending on the time of day.

What are the costs associated with visiting a chiropractor?

Cost can vary depending on your insurance, deductibles, co insurance, and the extent of your condition. We will always let you know the cost in advanced to the best of our knowledge.

Does the chiropractor accept my insurance?

We accept all major medical insurances, but unfortunately insurance can cause confusion and they make the final decision on what they cover. We will walk you through your policy and coverage to help you best understand.

What is the chiropractor's cancellation policy?

Our patients are our first priority and we want each patient to have the best experience in our office. Due to that, we do not charge for cancellations, but we ask you let us know 24 hours in advance, so those needing to get in are able to receive treatment.

What is the chiropractor's approach to treatment?

Our approach to treatment is results driven. We diagnosis the problem, and focus to achieve the goals the patient has. We do not focus on symptoms, rather long-term complete healing.

Does the chiropractor use any specific techniques?

Our office uses a torque release technique. Many other techniques have been used in our office, but we have found patients achieve results faster and longer lasting with the torque release. This technique involves no twisting, cracking or popping, which allows the body to heal quicker and reduce inflammation.

How does the chiropractor measure progress?

Our office is focused on allowing our patients to see and know their progress. We provide 75 different ways for our patients to visually see, and know their progress through out their care.

What are the risks and benefits of chiropractic treatment?

The biggest risk of chiropractic treatment is your life might be changed for the better! Often, when your body isn’t used to treatments you might experience soreness, as you would going to the gym for the first time. The benefits of chiropractic care are tenfold. Better sleep, less pain, better movement, better function, improved immune system, and the list goes on.

Does the chiropractor work with other healthcare providers?

We work with all health care providers. We promise every patient that walks through our doors, if we are not able to take on your case, we will provide you with a well-qualified referral and someone who is able to help you

What is the chiropractor's availability?

We are available Monday – Thursday and Friday and Saturday by emergency appointment.

Does the chiropractor provide any additional services?

We provide many services to provide a well round treatment plan to help your body function better. Some of the few services we offer are: neurologically based chiropractic adjustments, decompression, cold laser, exercises, nutrition, electrical stimulation, and more.

What is the chiropractor's policy on missed appointments?

What should I expect during my initial examination?

During your initial exam our doctors will sit down with you and go through your entire health history with you, providing as much information as possible. We desire our patients to leave our office feeling informed and having a better understanding of their health. Based on your history we have a variety of exams the doctors will conduct to figure out the specific problem.

How long will my first appointment take?

What should I wear to my first appointment?

You can wear whatever is most appropriate to you. We prefer article of clothes that allow you to move so we can get an accurate assessment of your spine and nervous system.

What should I bring with me to my first appointment?

Please bring all health history, and your health goals. We will need a Driver’s License and insurance card.

Will X-rays be taken during my first appointment?

X-rays may be taken on your first appointment. We will take x-rays based on clinic presentation and examination.

Will the chiropractor discuss my medical history during my first appointment?

Yes, our doctors will spend as much time as needed to review your medical history with you and all concerns you may have about your health.

Will the chiropractor perform a physical examination during my first appointment?

Yes, we will perform a physical examination, orthopedic examination and a neurological evaluation. We will also do a full posture analysis and motion analysis.

Will the chiropractor discuss a treatment plan during my first appointment?

The focus of the first visit is for you to be able to share your medical history and background. Our doctors will perform necessary exams to better understand your medical history. After reviewing your medical history and exams, our doctors will have you come back to review your case, and we will provide our best recommendations, if we have accepted your case.

Will the chiropractor adjust me during my first appointment?

We want to understand our patient’s health completely before we will ever adjust, just as a surgeon would never do surgery on the first exam without reviewing all clinical testing and imaging. We will never guess with a patient’s health.

Will the chiropractor give any instructions to follow after my first appointment?

Absolutely, you are the main driver of your health, so the doctors will provide much instruction and information each visit.

How long until I can expect to see results from my first visit?

This is a great question and the hardest to answer. Each and every person is different. We will sit down with you and have an open and honest conversation about what we expect. You are the biggest indicator of your results. If you do everything we ask, the faster the results you’ll get. Its like hiring a personal trainer to lose 30 lbs. They say 30lbs in 30 days but if you only do the workouts but don’t eat health are you going to get the results? You have to put in the work. We will give you all the tools to be successful.
